Beauty Haul

(Products I bought)

Over the past couple of weeks I have been shopping and purchased quite a few bits of makeup. Here I will be showing you what I have bought, swatches and the names of the colors.

(Rimmel Scandal eyes waterproof mascara)

Cost: Under £5
From: Savers
Color: Black
I bought this mascara because it is waterproof and is something that i will need for the summer. If you ever think about buying a rimmel product, buy it from savers because it is so much cheaper!

(Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil)

Cost: Around £2.50
From: Savers
Color: Hazel
I never really knew whether I needed to fill in my eyebrows, so I thought I would try out an eyebrow pencil. I don't really have anything else to compare this to, but it is pretty good. Once again, buy rimmel products from savers because it is so much cheaper.

(Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer)

Cost: Under £5
From: Savers
Color: Luna
The color of this lip product is super bright and amazingly pigmented! I don't really know whether this is a lip gloss or a lipstick but it applies like a lip gloss.

(MAC creme sheen lipstick)

Cost: £15
From: John Lewis
Color: Creme Cup
This color is really popular, and now I understand why! It is the perfect amount of pigmentation, the perfect color, moisturizing and glossy too. The color is perfect for spring and summer!

(MUA lipstick)

Cost: £1
From: Superdrug
Color: Juicy - Shade 15
This color is really pretty and perfect for spring and summer! MUA lipsticks are known for their amazing value, only £1 each!

(MUA single eyeshadow)

Cost: £1
From: Superdrug
Color: Shade 16
This color is perfect as a base colour on my eyes. And once again amazing value.

(Revlon single eyeshadow)

Cost: £2.99
From: Superdrug
Color: Sand
I was dragged over to look at these eyeshadows because of the cuteness of the little pots. Then when i had a closer look at the colors and the quality of the product, I just had to buy it! And I am very happy I did.

              you know you love me

Maybelline Baby Lips

(My collection of babylips)

Maybelline Baby Lips

I love my Maybelline Baby Lips! I can not live without them! As you can see i went a bit crazy and bought four of the six available here in the UK. There are many other ones available in the USA, but unfortunately they only sell six flavors here. I have two of the moisturizing ones without any tint and two of the tinted ones. I love the tinted ones because it is great for school, it gives you a bit of a sheer wash of color onto your lips without being to bright. I love them! But then the moisturizing ones are great too, just for a normal lip balm.

(My flavours of the Baby Lips)

From top to bottom, the flavours are:

  • Hydrate (flavorless, but tastes sugary)
  • Mint fresh (Minty)
  • Cherry Me (Cherry, obviously)
  • Pink Punch (Tastes like strawberries, and also like fruit punch)

Nivea Moisturising Cream!

Just a short Review!

(Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream with Jojoba Oil & Vitamin E)

Here is my moisturiser at the moment. All I can say about this moisturiser is wow! The value of this product is amazing! It costs around £1.50! The moisturiser I had before this one costed around £10 and i much prefer this one! It is quite small, it only has 75ml so that may be the reason. But its definitely worth it! I use it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening before i go to bed. Meaning as it is so cheap, why not go to your local drugstore and pick it up.

MAC Lipstick Review!

(MAC Amplified Lipstick in Viva Glam Gaga)

Review

Here is my MAC lipstick that i got for Christmas from my parents. I love it! I will definitely be purchasing another MAC lipstick soon! This color is a very natural nude colored lipstick. Also because it is an Amplified lipstick it is super pigmented and also has a really glossy and moisturizing finish.I find that because it is so pigmented i have to rub it in on my lips to give it a more natural look.
The packaging of the lipstick is different because it is part of one of the Viva Glam lipstick range. It has silver reflects in the black cover and instead of the silver inside, it is red. And on the red part of the packaging has got Lady Gaga's signature on it.
This is just a short review so... I hope you enjoyed!

Benefit Feelin' Dandy Set Review!

Benefit Feelin' Dandy

Here is the box cover for the Benefit Feelin' Dandy set. They do this set also in other shades, for example, Sugarlicious and Go TropiCoral. This set costs about £25.50, but it depends on where you buy it from. At the bottom of the box in small writing it says Perk me up... Lip & Cheek Kit.

Here are the contents of the box:

1. Mini posie tint
Can be used on lips and on cheeks. This color is a really bright pink. It gives a really good effect on lips meaning as it is a lips stain, it stays on for ages! But I don't tend to wear this on my cheeks even though it is made for it. I don't because if you put it on and don't blend it in quickly, it will quickly stain and then you will be left with a patch stained onto your cheeks. Overall, I do love this product!

2. Mini High beam

This is a highlighter. It helps contour you face. I haven't got any other highlighters so i have nothing to compare it to. But its meant to reflect the light off your face. You put this on your cheek bones and on any other places that will reflect off the sun. I don't tend to use this often.

3. Mini Dandelion Blush

I love this blush! It's such a perfect pigmentation. Also the color is natural and suits pretty much every skin tone. Particularly blondes. I got recommended to buy this buy one of the makeup artists at the benefit stands. I will definitely be repurchasing this if it runs out! Also, it comes with a small brush.

4. Mini Dandelion Ultra Plush Lip Gloss

This tastes amazing! It gives an amazing finish on top of a lipstick. It doesn't really stay on for long unfortunately. This doesn't have a color to the gloss, its pretty sheer. Also, it has slight shimmery reflects.

Another great thing about these boxes is that benefit gives you a tips and tricks section which shows you where to apply the products and how to get the best finish with them. As well as this there is a small compact mirror.

Sleek Makeup Freebies!

Sleek Makeup Freebies

So you're probably wondering how did I get all of these freebies? One of my favorite magazine, called Cosmopolitan, was doing an amazing offer! The offer was that if you subscribe to cosmopolitan to a minimum of 9 months (£3.00 for 3 months and £10 for 6 months), you get a free makeup set from sleek (originally costing £35.00). When i heard this offer, i couldn't say no! I really love all the makeup items, here is a list with all the details of them all:

1. Sleek Blush

Originally would have cost £4.49
Shade Rose Gold 926
The pigmentation of this blush is perfect! Its bright enough to not have to apply too much yet it is natural looking on the skin. Perfect for people looking for natural beauty.

2. Sleek True Color Lipstick Sheen

Originally would have cost £4.99
Shade Baby Doll 771
If i could have picked the color i wouldn't have picked this one. It is a really lovely lipstick but its not really my kind of shade. Its completely different to the color it looks. Its a really light baby pink  and it does suit me but I'm not really that keen on it.

3. Sleek Lip 4 Lipstick Palette
Originally would have cost £8.99
Shade Ballet 858 - Tutu, Plie, Swan Lake and Pirouette
This palette has a mix of highly pigmented lipsticks with matte, gloss and satin finishes. I love this because it means that i can create a variety of looks from these four colors. It also comes with a small lip brush that fixes perfectly into the palette which means it is portable too. If i was going to buy a sleek product, i wouldn't usually go for this palette but now i am really happy i have it.

4. Sleek i-Divine mineral based eye shadow palette
Originally would have cost £7.99
Shades - Oh So Special 658 - Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate, Pamper, Gateau, The mail, Boxed, Wrapped up, Noir
I really love this palette and it is by far my favorite product that i received! If i lost this palette, i would definitely repurchase it. The pearl pinks are really cute and look natural enough to wear on a daily basis.

5. Sleek i-Divine mineral based eye shadow palette
Originally would have cost £7.99
Shades - Bad Girl 596 - Innocence, Gullible, Blade, Gun metal, Underground, Noir, Intoxicated, Envy, Obnoxious, Abyss, Twilight, Rebel
This is the last product i got. I do like this palette, but it is a very evening look and grown up. I am quite young so i want to keep natural and stick to neutral colors, but if you are confident enough and old enough then go for it! There is a good selection of colors on this one.
